BIO
Elena Bouza nace en Madrid en 1979.En 2002 obtiene el título de licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. En 2003 realiza un curso de pintura en Slade School of Arts, University College of London (Reino Unido).
En 2004 consigue el Diploma de Estudios Avanzados tras finalizar los cursos de doctorado, que le otorga la suficiencia investigadora para continuar con su trabajo de investigación en el arte contemporáneo; y en 2005 termina el Máster en Teoría y Práctica de las Artes Plásticas Contemporáneas.
En 2007, Bouza recibe de manos del Rey Juan Carlos I una de las prestigiosas becas de La Caixa para estudios de postgrado en EEUU. En 2009 se gradúa de un máster en pintura figurativa en la New York Academy of Art, en Nueva York. Durante este tiempo comienza a exponer su obra en esta ciudad.
Bouza ha participado en diversas exposiciones de carácter colectivo e individual tanto en España como en Londres, Nueva Jersey y Nueva York.
