The exhibition will run from March 6th - 8th, 11:00 - 8:00. As part of a special Armory Show event it will be on view starting at 11:00am on March 7th. The day also includes a Bx Arts Happy Hour from 5:00- 8:00pm. Guest Curator: Jeanine Alfieri

The Andrew Freedman Home will also be providing three special works of Bearden from a private collector

Admission is free and open to the general public.

Art of the 5 is a New York City borough to borough group art exhibition spanning the next several years through 2015. In the first part of the series, Debra Vanderburg Spencer has chosen the Bronx as the first borough to be represented in A Shout Out from the Bronx featuring 12 of its amazing contemporary artists in painting, sculpture, photography and installation. Work is on display in both the North and South side corridors of the main floor as well as in the Treasure Room Gallery.
